The Village Festival in Glebe Park:

The Village Festival is a multi arts festival which will pop up in Glebe Park Canberra
from March 21st-24th 2013, as part of the Canberra Centenary Celebrations.

The Village is currently seeking Expressions Of Interest from ACT artists to present within The Village Glebe Park.

We are seeking: bands, music ensembles and solo musicians; works of theatre, circus and puppetry; projects driven by writers, visual artists or chefs; installations, exhibitions and workshops; we would also love to hear from super 8 junkies, sideshow ratbags and people who can play The Marseillaise on their teeth….

Expressions of interest are Due 17th September 2012,

Volunteers:

The Village festival is always looking for new volunteers.

We are looking for people with a wide variety of skills and interests.

As a volunteer in the Village you will work alongside professional performers, artists and

festival crew in different settings. (Melbourne, Falls festivals in Lorne and Tasmania, regional Victoria).

We reward volunteers with free tickets to shows, free meals on the days you work, free drinks

and great companionship. The Village crew and artists are a great family to spend your days with.

We also mentor talented and enthusiastic people with an interest in a career in this industry.

Many volunteers have gone on to become paid crew and performers.

Food vendors:


The Village has a holistic approach to food.

We believe in homemade, organic, healthy, multicultural and creative food.

The Village caters for a broad audience and our events take place mainly in Melbourne,

regional Victoria and Tasmania.

We welcome vendors with exciting food ideas.
