There are myriad opportunities for you (and your dog) to get creative. A wedding, a dance competition, a kitchen, a dog show: the ordinary becomes extraordinary when it’s done at The Village.
The Famous Village Dog Show
20 dogs vie for Cutest Dog, Best Trick, Most Like Their Owner, Best Costume and BEST IN SHOW. Can’t fail. Bring your dog. No cats.
Saturday 4pm, Outdoor Stage
So You Think You Can Interpretive Dance
A staple of The Village Festival, this is you dancing to mighty pop anthems. So much fun and always a highlight.

The Wedding
This is a real wedding and you are really invited. Join in the celebrations as Rob and Sayra tie the knot to a Greek mythology theme. The celebrant will be in an astronaut suit (obviously). Make sure you check out the workshops during the day so you can turn up suitably attired and accessorised.

The World Kitchen
The imaginary love child of Nigella and the Swedish chef, this food performance venue will host food demonstrations from the serious to the spurious, with a different theme each day.

The wedding preparations and kids cooking. Hosted by pancake queen Sandra Long. Lots of wedding party food and healthy lunch treats for kids.
Kids food work shops all afternoon:

– try and make yummie raw food balls
-monster cake off: teams will try to create the scariest cakes
